Introduction
The Association for Historical Accuracy (AforHA) serves as an information gatherer, and disseminator, to uncover and correct the historical records and misperceptions pertaining to gay/lesbian/homosexual individuals whether they be anonymous or known. Its main focus is the lives of gay/lesbian/homosexual individuals of the past.
These individuals were unable to safely self-narrate their lives without losing everything: family, church membership, employment, and a respectable standing in society.
It's time that we know who they really were, how they lived, and what the true status of their contentment was.
